Welcome to a new week. The latest data on inflation and retail sales is set to be released, providing a snapshot of demand and pricing. Plus, major CPGs such as Kraft Heinz and Coca-Cola will report earnings.

Here’s a look at the agenda:

Economic indicators

Consumer Price Index: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports data on the inflation rate across all urban consumers for January 2023. (Feb. 14, 8:30 a.m.)

Retail Sales: The U.S. Commerce Department reports sales across in-person and online retailers for January 2023. (Feb. 15, 8:30 a.m.)

Producer Price Index: The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reports data on wholesale inflation for January 2023. This measures the price of goods in the phase before they reach consumers. (Feb. 16, 8:30 a.m.)

Earnings

Tuesday, Feb. 14: Coca-Cola

Wednesday, Feb. 15: Shopify, Kraft Heinz

Thursday, Feb. 16: Crocs, Hasbro
